All children are welcome to participate in a great cycling event in Tartu
On this Saturday, May 28th, in Tartu city center, the 35th Tartu Rattaralli’s cycling event for children takes place. Around 4000 participants are welcome to TILLUraces (500 m and 1,1 km) and MINImarathons (5,2 km and 7,6 km).
The first start will be given at 11.00 on Turu street. The courses run along Tartu city center, the MINImarathons also pass Supilinn and Karlova - very scenic Tartu districts. During the race, the traffic is closed.
No winners are declared in the Tartu Rattaralli children’s events. However, all children will receive a medal, a diploma and a small prize bag.
„This is a unique opportunity for children to get the first real road cycling experience on the main streets of Tartu. Hopefully, it will inject them with a lot of cycling joy and teach them healthy ways of life,“ said Tartu Rattaralli race director Indrek Kelk.
The participation is free of charge, but registration is mandatory. Pre-registration online is open from Monday, May 23rd until Thursday, May 26th at 5:00 PM (Estonian time). On May 27th, registration is open in Tartu Rattaralli’s race center and of course, it is possible to register on the day of the race before the first start.
On Saturday, May28th Tartu Grand Prix cycling race for professionals also take place in Tartu, with start at 2.30 PM also from Turu street.
The day after, the main race of the 35th Tartu Rattaralli takes place.
